The International Wool Textile Organisation (IWTO) each year produces a 90+ page compendium of statistics for the global wool industry. This data ranges from sheep numbers and wool production, through wool prices and markets in key countries, to prices and production of other fibres, to trade in raw wool and wool products (right through to finished garments, blankets, rugs and carpets) and to retail sales. The publication includes a review and outlook for the global industry and commentary on trends in the statistics under each topic.
The IWTO provides the report free to its members, of which NCWSBA is one.
In turn, NCWSBA provides an electronic copy to its members by email.
